You will be missed my old friend. I Thank-you for stopping and always saying "Hello". I'll never forget the time I met you. It was in a field with a mare having birthing troubles and there you were. You knew the old school remedies and the old tricks. Rest in Peace "Doc".

My sincerest condolences to Don's family. He was a loved and well respected member of his community. I had the pleasure to work at Don's home as a homemaker, we had many conversations, about his beloved daughters and how proud he was of them, of his siblings, and many friends. I loved to hear the stories Don would tell about the past and of his many adventures as a Dr. Don will be dearly missed by everyone that had the pleasure of walking into his life!

Dear Carol & Miriam We are very sad to learn that Don passed away. As you know, he and your Mom were best friends with my Mom & Dad, Albert & Vivien. Don was always dropping in to the house with leaf lettuce, berries, etc. for us that he had picked up on his vet travels. He also brought us our dog Boots who stayed for many years. Your Dad was universally loved and respected. He will be truly missed. Condolences from us all. Joel, Janice, Bonnie, Graham

To the Christie Family, I wish to add my condolences on the death of "Doc" Christie. He is the last of his generation whom I was privileged to know. My association with this esteemed group began as a Trustee with Yvonne and John Christie. My subsequent move to Port Perry brought me in contact with Don's brothers Mac and Fred. Many grace filled memories come to light as I type this message. This Sunday with my worshiping community I will place Don's name in our prayer intentions and offer grateful thanks for his friendship and support. Peace and every good blessing Larry Corrigan

I am sorry to hear of Don's passing. The picture you chose speaks for it's self, a proud, practical but unassuming veterinarian. He would be pleased!
