Obituary of Hilda Bernice Mappin

HILDA BERNICE MAPPIN Suddenly, on Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 79. Hilda (nee Johns), beloved wife of John Mappin of Whitby. Loving mother of Bernice and her husband Ewald Bengel of Prince Albert, Paul Mappin of Port Perry, Rick Mappin and his wife Dawn of Port Perry, Doug Mappin and his wife Michelle of Whitby, and Debbie and her husband Tony Moxam of Paris. Loved grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The family of Hilda Mappin will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, March 5th from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 6th at 11 a.m. Interment Nestleton United Church Cemetery in the Spring.
