In fond memory of Hilda Mappin a wonderful lady and she will be truly missed. She will be with the Lord now, because those that have given their lives to Christ will be absent from the body present with the Lord. What a wonderful promise to know our loved ones are with our Lord.

Uncle John and family, Our prayers are with you as you go through this time. Aunt Hilda was truly an aunt to me (Sue) in every sense of the word. She helped me often during my single years whether it was with knitting, or hectic last minute wedding preparations. Even though I moved to the States her cards would come on every birthday and anniversary. Her kindness to many will not be forgotten. She will be missed greatly but we're glad she is over her suffering and with her Lord whom she really loved. We wish we could be there with you. Strength in the Lord for the days ahead and a big hug to you all. Much Love, Dave and Sue (VanDijk), Daniel, Stephen, Philip and Nathan Alberts

Dear Family, Know that I sympathise with your great loss even though I know that Hilda with live on in your hearts and minds forever. I felt priveleged to have known her a little. She is a beautiful person, truly through and through. My greatest compliment I could pay her is that she was a good Mother, which ranks number one with me. She cared more for others than herself and demonstrated it always. She gave until there was nothing left to give. She has earned her peace and rest. I know God blesses her every day.

Our heartfelt condolences to all the family at this time. We know that "Aunt" Hilda will be missed by many. Our prayers go out to all the family for peace and comfort, especially for John. We also know that she will be celebrating with the angels in heaven as she is home with Jesus. Trusting in the Lord and hope that for anyone who does not know the Saviour at this time, that perhaps this is the opportunity to reflect on Hilda's life and her love for the Lord. May her life continue to touch the lives of many yet to come and accept Christ as their personal Saviour. May the glory be to God! Love from Rene & Elaine P.S. We are extremely sorry that we are unable to attend the services.

My sympathies to the Mappin family on your loss. How good to know that Aunt Hilda is with her Lord and Saviour who she loved and served so faithfully. She has been such a wonderful example to me in all the years I knew her. I remember going to her home for bible studies and dinners many years ago when they lived on the farm. She was famous for her delicious home made pies! We used to beg her to bring them to our potluck dinners at the meeting hall. I remember her helping my dad with the work he did for the Lord. She knew how to work hard, and always had a wonderful sense of humor. Aunt Hilda was in our families home alot and I am so thankful I got to know her. Aunt Hilda was always available and helpful with all the events in our meeting until her health made it impossible for her to be there, but we knew she was still praying for us all. We will miss her very much...but to be with Christ is far better!
