Obituary of Alan Lynford Schnurr

Peacefully, on Friday, February 16th, 2018, at his home in Port Perry, at age 77. Alan Schnurr, beloved husband of Marlena (nee Miller) Dear brother of Judy Schnurr and her partner Bill Nixon of Streetsville, Brenda and her husband Roy Matthews of Strathroy, Donna Schnurr of British Columbia, and Carole (deceased) and her husband George Bourque of Caledon. Alan will be remembered by Marlena's children, Karen and Huberto Manteiga of Georgetown, Kimberly Secher of Brantford, and Kevin Secher and his wife Ann of Saskatchewan, and Marlena's grandchildren Kailey, Bon, Krista, Alexander, Jessica, Chantal, Jessie, and Nicholas. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. The Family of Alan Schnurr will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Darlene Peddle officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society.
