So sorry to hear of Rip's passing. I worked with him in Human Resources at E.D.Smith for several years. He was always that calm that HR needed. I am sure he will be missed. jeantte halper

So sorry to learn of Rip's sudden and untimely death. A classmate of his at Burnhamthorpe Collegiate in Etobicoke in the mid '60s, I have appreciated his efforts to organize "reunion days" for a group of us over the past several years. We will miss his quiet good humour. My heartfelt sympathies to Lynn and his family.

Janet, Cheryl, Lindsay and Mrs Green - my condolences on everyone's loss. I just happened to come across Mr Green at the shoppers in Port Perry on Dec 15th last year and all the wonderful memories of rides to jazz band in the mornings, SWE on Tues evenings, and him regularly out walking the dog (Chelsea?) along Ambleside Drive came flooding back with a big smile in my mind and on my face. Thoughts are with your family and many friends.

Dear Lynn and girls,
Please accept my sincere condolences at the loss of your beloved husband and father. It was my good fortune to have played on many teams in the SHL with Rip and we shared many a laugh together!! He truly loved his hockey and enjoyed the time spent with everyone in the League!! He was proud of his family and I often asked how his girls were doing!! We will all miss his smile and positive attitude!!! Take care of each other.

Dear Lynne,
Words cannot express how sorry I am. The loss of a husband is so very painful. Dave held Rip in high regard and his visits brightened his days. I know so well how you are feeling now. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hold your family close now as they will be a strength and comfort to you.
Love and sincere regards,
Liz
