Obituary of Anne Muriel Emerson

(Retired Nurse, Women's College Hospital Toronto. She was a potter/painter and extraordinary wife and mother. Taught pottery for many years locally and in Toronto. Member of the Potter's Guild and locally participated in the Scugog Studio Tour and was a well-known local artist.) Peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Caressant Care in Lindsay, at age 97. Anne (nee Griffith), dearly loved wife of the late Edgar Emerson of Nestleton. Loved mother of Ian (Maura) of Nestleton, Chris of View Lake, Greg (Heather) of Collingwood, and Doug (Tracey) of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Brick, Jordan, Summer, Erika, Geoff, Brad, Kyle and Alex and great grandmother of Lucas and Joshua. Anne is survived by her sister Gwyn Griffith and she was predeceased her sister Bona Mary Duncan. The family of Anne Emerson will receive family and friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, August 28th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, August 29th at 11 a.m. Followed by interment at Nestleton United Church Cemetery.
