ANNA ALIDA "ANNE" WANNINKHOF ~ (Retired Social Worker for the Region of Durham Social Services,
Coordinator of Operation Scugog-Foodbank, Long-Time Member of the Catholic Women’s League and the Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority) ~ With great sadness the family announce Anne passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry. Anne (nee DeGroot) of Port Perry, beloved wife of the late Jacob "Jack" Wanninkhof. Loving and cherished mother of Margaret and her husband Layne Dietsch of Whitby, Jack and his wife Jackie, and Andrea Wanninkhof, all of Port Perry. Proud and devoted Oma of Kyra and Tegan Dietsch. Dear sister of Kees DeGroot and his wife Joyce, Martina Havekort, and predeceased by Jaap, Jacoba, Derek, Koos, Henk, Corrie, and Riet. She will also be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all of her nieces, nephews, family, and friends in Canada and Holland. The family of Anne Wanninkhof will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, August 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy. 7A) in Port Perry on Thursday, August 11th at 11 a.m. Interment Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Uxbridge.
