Dearest Sue and Peter, I was so sorry to hear of Sheila's struggles and eventual death this May. Having grown up as a close friend of your family, it's always hard to hear of the poor health of someone dear. My mother, Lois Clark, was Sheila's godmother and she and my father Don loved her dearly. She took a special place in Mum's heart. God bless all of your families. Hugs, Judy

Dear Peter, David and Katie. Remembering fun and happy times in our early years of teaching at O'Neill. After getting to know Peter and hearing all his New Zealand stories, it was a great treat to meet Sheila and witness her wonderful sense of humour. You were both such interesting people to know. And we were happy to bump into one another over the years and share stories of our kids and have some chuckles. Sheila will be missed so much by all who knew her - by you three and the grankids most of all. We wish you love and comfort in your happy memories.

We have lost a true friend but our lives have been enriched by her presence:she has left her mark. We send each of you our very deepest sympathy and our love.

Peter, David, Katie and all the Talbot family: There are no words to express how you must be feeling.I can only send whispers of caring. Sheila was a kind and gentle woman. She suffered a horrible cancer. Cancer doesn't play fair and it picked a rare gem to destroy. Sheila was the ultimate giver. She gave as a devoted wife and mother. She gave hope and inspiration to the "special" children she taught at Prince Albert Public School. She loved them as if they were her own. The tragedy is that when it came time to give back, no one could help her. We are better people, having been touched by Sheila and her legacy will live on in each of us forever. With sympathy. Joan Quail

Dear Mr Talbot and family, I'm so sorry for your loss my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. (Look for me in Rainbows) Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbye; Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky. In the morning sunrise when all the world is new, Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you. Time for me to leave you, I won't say goodbye; Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky. In the evening sunset, when all the world is through, Just look for me and love me, and I'll be close to you. It won't be forever, the day will come and then My loving arms will hold you, when we meet again. Time for us to part now, we won't say goodbye; Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky. Every waking moment, and all your whole life through Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you. Just wish me to be near you, And I'll be there with you. Paul Brignall Bobcaygeon
