I have many happy memories of seeing Danny at different times over these past years - and he was always so thoughtful and kind. He was at all of the school concerts, and other events, in support of his family, as well as all of the other kids! Without exception, when asked how he was doing, he would share a warm smile and say "I'm fine, thank you", then ask how you were, and then genuinely listened to what you might share. He will be greatly missed in the community! I know that we're very grateful to have known Danny, he was a special man, and will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Sending our heartfelt condolences to the family! Carol, Karl and Maya Higeli

When Leslie McFarlane PS was taken down they held a final assembly before-hand. Mr. Reesor, our music teacher was there. The proudest Canadian I've probably ever known, he demanded you sing the anthem from the cockles of our hearts to honor the men and women who'd given their all for us to maintain a progressive society. While touring the halls was emotional, it wasn't until the anthem began that it really hit me. I hadn't sung along in time...and to honor this part of history I was all prepared to belt it out as bloody hard as I could..... until that first note, and Mr. Reesor's BOOMING voice shook the hairs across my body. I bawled the first half of the anthem, a cathartic release of emotion. I sang the rest choked up and blubbering as I tried to keep up with the power and conviction he sang with. He was inspiring, stern and kind. This was just the last of many formative moments he gave to me. One of the greater male figures I was fortunate to have guide me. Next time I sing the anthem, I'll probably cry thinking of this memory. Forever in our hearts.

Our condolences to Chris, Charlene, and Denise and your families on the loss of your father. He was a wonderful, kind man. We got to know Danny and Lillian through their efforts helping to organize the Reesor Family in Canada Reunions. We worked with them on the Registration Committee for several reunions. They were both great at organizing which was instrumental in the reunion registration process. We are sorry that Danny did not have an opportunity to participate in the next reunion that would have taken place a couple of weeks ago but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Danny was a warm-hearted, kind and loyal person to the many lives he touched. His varied interests and talents led him to join many clubs and organizations to which he gave 150%. But his pride and joy were his family. May you take comfort in the memories you created, knowing that he treasured his time with you.
Hal will miss their bi-weekly breakfasts and long chats, and we will both miss his loud, booming laugh. We loved him.
Hugs to you all,
Hal and Stasia

Sincere regrets to Chris,Charlene, Denise and their families.
Danny, like Lillian, was a wonderful neighbour for many years before moving to Port Perry. They welcomed our daughter Siobhan into their home like she was one of their own. Danny’s life was a life well lived. May your memories of him see you through this difficult time.
