NORM MILLAR, SUBURBANAIRE OF RENOWN
MAY HE REST IN PEACE
After many years of Barbershopping with the Markham Men of Harmony, and 29 years with the Suburbanaires, Norm has joined his past Barbershop friends in the Heavenly Chorus. Oh, how the Suburbanaires will miss him!
In addition to phoned regrets expressed by the members of the Suburbanaires, the following sentiments were received by email. They are but a small measure of the place Norm had in the hearts of his fellow songsters. May they provide some solace to Barbara and the family.
Esther and Al Vetter:
What a sad, sad day for Barbara, her family, the Suburbanaires and all who knew Norm. He was always helpful and supportive, spoke from the heart and a pleasure to be with. Norm; put in a good word up in heaven for the many friends you left behind.
With deepest sympathies for Barbara and the family,
Esther and Al.
Ed Schollen;
Norm's passing will be a great loss, not just to his family, but to the Suburbanaires and every chorus member. He was always first in line to provide any help or service that improved the chorus and its pursuit of entertaining others.. I will miss him greatly as will all of the Chorus members.
God bless you Norm. You are now in His care
Ed Schollen
Paul Arculus:
SAD SAD SAD NEWS.
MY DEAR FRIEND NORM has joined the heavenly chorus. WHAT A TRAGIC LOSS TO US ALL.
His care for us in keeping all our sheet music together and running the 50/50. … and his voice.
He will forever rest in our memories as a jovial, interesting and no nonsense kind of guy.
Always pleasant and caring.
May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing.
Paul
Egon Pedersen:
It is really sad to hear.

Ron Garside:
I worked with Norm over the years on the 50/50, and he was such a joy to work with.
Norm was always friendly, willing to lend a hand, and put his all into barbershopping. He was a great guy.
Like the rest of the guys, I will really miss you Norm. Our chorus won’t be the same without you.
Ron
Dominic Susilo:
R.I.P. Norm, we certainly will miss him deeply. I will definite join into the prayers for his soul, tonight. May he be singing in the heavenly group around the Almerciful Lord. And the loved ones here on earth be given strength to go through this period of mourn.
In condolences,
Dominicus
Harry Carter:
Very sad! He will be missed by many.
Harry
Pat and Jack Kalbfleisch:

Al Davis
