I grew up in the neighbourhood with Mr. Horner’s son Jim. I remember Mr. Horner was always there when his kids needed him whether it was for sports or if they just needed his support.
He will be missed.
Jim, I am sorry to hear of your loss I wish you and your family the very best.
God bless
Rick Beatty

Rest in Peace my brother. Your troubled journey is finally over, and you can rejoin your beloved Irene, where you belong. You took good care of her for many years while being partially incapacitated yourself. If anybody deserved a Purple Heart it was you. I recall you showing me how to defend myself and then later, how to drive a car. You were a kind, caring brother, and I was blessed to have five of them, and a loving sister, not forgetting little Betty who we lost much too soon. Our family circle is shrinking, but we who still survive have much to be thankful for and many fond memories.
You have left a long precious legacy Roy, and you will never be forgotten.RIP.
Love, your kid brother Russ.
