We are sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. He is in our prayers.
The first photo was taken in May 10, 2007 in our European bus trip in an Italian restaurant. After our delicious dinner, ice cream was served. Tom asked for teaspoons for everyone. The waiter said they use fork in Italy. Tom insisted that he wants teaspoons and customers in Canada are always right. The waiter answered, “Owners in Italy are always right.” I could only remember we gave him minimal tips. Our group was a happy bunch and was singing, “Ocho lo Mio, O San Frante” on our way to the hotel.
Tom will be missed. May his soul Rest In Peace.
With our love,
Ruben & Emily

To the family of Tom Midgely
The men’s group that meets at Port Perry United Church extends our sympathy to the family at this time of the passing of Tom. We appreciated his friendly cheerfulness and the wealth of life time experience that he shared with us.
We know that he was very proud of the service he gave to Canada in the Canadian military and his association with the governments of Canada and Ontario.
The video tribute on the Wagg’s web page is very moving and very informative.
God bless you,
Port Perry United Church Men’s group.

Dear Catherine,
I am so sorry to hear off Tom’s passing. I remember thinking at maybe the age of 7 or 8 that he was the most handsome man in the world. Krystyna Urbanski and I were totally in awe of you and Tom, such a glamorous couple! And I still thought of you that way the last time I saw you at St Paul’s. I know your daughter, Michelle, will miss her Dad but hopefully you will be a comfort to each other. Take care and stay safe during these strange times.
Shelagh Hudson Carroll.
