Poppa, I’ll miss you. You lived a full and eventful life over your 90+ years. I look back fondly on the times we shared. Whether it was weekends (and weekdays) at the farm in the spring, summer and the fall, great family time at your places in Scarborough and Seagrave, or just chatting about whatever, I have a lot of great memories of our times together. You showed us all about the values of hard work, integrity and, dare I say frugality (something that I think you passed down!). I will have great memories of working on the farm, delivering wood, talking about the gas mileage on our vehicles (something that you took great pride in), discussing the Tapscott family history, or anything else that came up as we chatted. I nostalgically wish I could hear one more time when I asked how you were doing and you say “not bad” in your special way. You touched so many lives in so many ways.
Love you Poppa!
Matt Tapscott

Uncle Dick...you were my first real "job"! Spending two summers working and living with you and the Tapscott team! You taught me so much...how to sweat and know it meant you did a good job, how to negotiate with people who weren't always right but still have both parties leave satisfied, how to husk the best corn ever, and how to have fun while "working"! You paid me but I learnt more than just how to finance! Will miss your jokes, tips on growing, and your big smile! I had best uncles ever! Hugs and love to family❤️

Mel. The Tapscott name means a lot to me. Strong work ethic, independence and family are what you and mom instilled in me. I hope that I have
passed these qualities on to M and M and they will pass these on to their children. I always called you Mel not dad and that was my way of showing you respect. Whenever we talked you would always ask how your grandchildren and great grandchildren were doing. I will miss you dad. Rest In Peace Terry

Dad I knew you for almost 49 years. I have wonderful memories of you trying to teach the city girl how to farm. Great times with Matthew and Melissa when
our family and you and mom would go to Picton every fall to pick apples. I will miss you. Love Karen (daughter in law)

Poppa, we will miss your smile and laughter.
I (Melissa) remember the summer days on the farm and riding the tractor with you. Those were some of the best summers. If not sure if that is when I got my nickname from you, but I remember being called ‘chick’ from a very young age.
We are glad that you celebrated our wedding and birth of our son Finn. It was amazing to celebrate your 90th birthday, such a milestone occasion.
We will miss you and love you very much,
Melissa, Dawn and Finn
