Obituary of Keith Laverne Wright
Peacefully, on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at the Village of Taunton Mills Retirement Community in Whitby, at age 89. Keith, dearly loved husband of the late Christina Wright (nee Winter). Loved father of James Wright (Niki) and Margaret Wright. Loved grandfather of Ken Wright (Erika), Jonathan Wright (Andrea) and Mary Wright (Eric). Dearly loved great grandfather of Brooke, Ella and Piper.
Dad was a busy man. Dad took pride in the jobs he had, especially when it came to driving the bus. It was his pride and joy driving that Oshawa Transit bus. A lot of his passengers to this day remember Keith as their Applehill driver. Dad loved his job so much because when he retired he decided he was not ready to stop driving. Dad decided to join Maggie at Coach Canada and drove school bus for another 5 yrs.
Then he decided it was time to stop driving bus and do his other hobbies that Chris and him loved doing. Keith loved making lawn chairs and wood crafts and one of his biggest hobbies was taking care of his lawn and gardening. Keith was not one to sit around and do nothing. His family, grandchildren and especially his great grandchildren are going to miss him dearly.
