Obituary of Catherine Dzisiak
December 7, 1925 – December 19, 2019
Peacefully and while surrounded by her son, John and his family (wife Mara, children Darragh and Allison, son-in-law, Liam) in whose home she had resided for the last 4 years, the Son of Man came for Catherine (nee McLaughlin). The sweet Irish woman who came to Canada from Glasgow after the Second World War was predeceased by her beloved husband George, her son Gregory (Darlene), her grandson Matthew and her grandson Ericson. She is survived by her children Paul, John and Monica, and her grandchildren Darragh, Allison, Wesley, Marc, Michelle and Chantal. Many thanks to those who provided her with such loving spiritual and corporal care, especially Blaise Thompson, Fr. Marco Testa, Dr. Jennifer Wilson, Graham Wilson, Tina Dhaliwal, Heather Schneider, Kim Suggitt, William Vibert, Candice Carson and Amber Vine.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Highway 7A) in Port Perry with Fr. Marco Testa officiating on Friday, December 20th at 10:30 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior.
