MURRAY BIRKETT ~ Suddenly, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, on Thursday, January 14, 2010, the day after his 68th birthday. Murray Birkett of Port Perry, dearly loved husband of Reta (nee Harris). Loved father of Judy and her husband Den Collins of Epsom, and Joanne and her husband Keith Rahm of Saintfield. Treasured grandfather of Laura, Leanne, and Danielle Collins, and Michelle and Travis Rahm. Dear brother of Muriel Tummonds and Ivan Birkett both of Oshawa. Son of the late Norman and Ruby Birkett of Raglan. The family of Murray Birkett will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Sunday, January 17th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, January 18th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Elaine Sveet officiating.
