I'm so sorry to hear about Chris. He dropped by our store fairly regularly, and we always enjoyed his visits. Don, and I will miss his sense of humour, and his knowledge of history.

To the family of Chris Calder, We were saddened to hear of Chris's passing and relay our deepest thoughts to all of you. We will cherish the camping trip memories we shared with Chris. We had wonderful campfire chats and we are grateful for the time our paths crossed in life. I remember Chris telling me to never drive our 21 yr old Toyota again after he took a test run in it. I had to promise him for the safety of all of and sent it off to the scrap yard. He was always a concerned and helpful friendl....RIP Chris

RIP Chris! I still can't believe that it was your time to head up to those Gates in Heaven. I remember like it was yesterday when you showed up at my door after your mom passed, to talk. I'll never forget that conversation. But we know your in good hands with your mom and the rest of the family members. Love you and miss you!

I have funny memories of Chris during the times that he & his brother Keith worked for us at the auction. Keith will remember when Lassie's young pups decided to go for a walk deep into the fields just as we were leaving for the auction & he & Chris helped me find them. The funny stories he used to tell my daughters.
Rebecca, Melissa & myself are shock & saddened to hear of Chris' passing. He was a very nice human being. Let the memories of Chris help you all during this difficult period.
Regards to the Calder family,
Gayle Kahn

You have been sent up to the same stars we used to talk about the beauty of. You are part of the nature around me always following me to make sure I am living my life. You are the breeze when I stand on the dock on the water, and the ripple of the lake as I canoe through to fish and catch the small easy ones that still made you proud of me. I love you forever dad, and I will live on for you to make sure I make you the proudest father. You have always been and always will be The Dad.
