Brian’s brilliant wit, his sparkling smile, and his kindness of spirit touched many lives around him. An immensely talented artist, he saw with great clarity the moments of beauty and serenity in the world.
Brian approached life with great style, determination, and humour that was an inspiration to those privileged to know him. His memory will be cherished always.

Brian was the butterscotch ripple in a world of vanilla ice cream....his wry sense of humour could be salty or sweet, but definitely delivered with panache. A glass of wine in one hand and a cigarette in his other hand, deftly wielded to emphasize a point, Brian brandished his wit with a rapiers’ finesse. The bravado belied an artist’s soul....his lonesome elk painting, his many watercolour paintings and incredible photography revealed the sensitive, creative side of a remarkable architect, loving father and a steadfast friend.
We will miss Brian, our dear friend...but we will carry his memory in our hearts.
Always,
teri and Brian
