Diane, Tye and Ginnie,
I was so saddened to hear of Larry's passing. He and all of you had a very memorable affect on Sharon's and my teenage years. You have so many incredible memories that I know will bring you much joy when you are ready to open your hearts to them.

Back in the early seventies Mr. Burt was on of my teachers. I had severe attention deficit disorder. Of course no one really knew what that was at the time. Mr. Burt along with one other teacher took and interest in me and helped me keep up with my studies. You've heard about a teacher that can have a positive and profound impact on a person's life, well Mr. Burt made a difference in my life and I will always be grateful. He was a great man. My deepest sympathies for the family.

Sorry to hear about Larry's passing. I had Larry for Environmental Science back in the late 60's. He would pass on stories about all his work at Skyloft. he always liked the spring to be able to get out with his sailboat. His method of grading his class was to be on the boat and let a good breeze disperse the papers. The close papers got the good marks. If they blew out of the boat, too bad. larry was unique and a bit of a character.

HELLO Aunt Dice, Ginny and Tye
We are sending you this note from Whistler. The Callahan Family out west - including Tim and Jane (vernon), Maribeth and Greg (Whistler) and David and I (Whistler) send our condolences at this very sad time of Uncle Larry's passing. The photo on the 'in loving memory' page shows a handsome, strong and healthy Larry. That is the way I shall always remember him. There were certainly many fun times and celebrations at Lake of Bays and St. Catherines. Blessing and comfort to you as you say goodbye to a wonderful man, husband and father. Much love and support to all who are near and dear to you.
