Obituary of John Joseph Harman
Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 72. John Harman of Port Perry, beloved husband of Cathy and the late Dawna. Loved father of Ken (Tonya) Harman, John (Linda) Harman, Jarett (Liz) Harman, Jason Rerrie, and Jennifer (Jordan Caughers). Loving grandfather of Kenny Jr., Dan, Kaitlyn, Jenna, Chloe, Dakota, Morgan, Cole, Liam, and Oliver. Dear son of Mary “Peg” and the late Robert “Bubs” Harman, and brother of Joanne (late Ed), Monty, Laurie (Lester), and Dawnna.
John’s family would like to thank the staff at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry for the excellent care he received.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Port Perry Legion, 484 Bay Street, Port Perry on Saturday, October 6th from 1 – 4 p.m. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
In lieu of flowers, John’s wishes were that memorial donations be made by cheque to the Port Perry Mojacks Jr. “C” Hockey Club.
