Dear Wayne and Amanda’s family,
My condolences on the death of Amanda, and the huge hole this leaves in your life and in the Port Perry community. Queen Beans Coffee House and Eco Port is a wonderful spot to have coffee and browse, and she made it so. I’ll miss her.

I was absolutely heartbroken to hear that Amanda had passed away. Even though I didn't know her super well I have so many fond memories of my kids and mom and I at Queen Beans with Amanda. Amanda always treated us like family and was always interested in how we were and what was going on in our lives. I will cherish those memories, they tug especially at my heart now that my mom is gone also. I will always remember Amanda and her caring, kind and generous bright light that she shared with us. She was a warrior and I will truly miss seeing her smiling face. I am holding your family in my heart and I extend my heartfelt condolences to Wayne and Amanda's family.

So many great conversations. Such a great inspiration. She was a great friend of the environment, the Scugog Lake Stewards and Port Perry. She died away too young, she had more to do.

I never met you Wayne but you must be a great guy to have been a big part of Amanda's life. She was a wonderful woman who will be sorely missed. Even in her own time of grief, she reached out with advice and love to my son and I. Helping us through a difficult time.

I wanted you to know that Ray and I share in your loss and are here for you if there is anything at all we can do to help in the days ahead.
I really can't believe that there won't be future dinners and stories to share with Amanda. Her leaving has left an enormous hole in our life and in the lives of many others. I only hope she knew how many people she had touched throughout her life and how much she was loved.

I have been a regular at the Queens Beans coffee shop for 4 years. Amanda welcomed me when I first showed up and always provided wonderful service
I have missed her over the last few months as she dealt with her illness. It is a tribute to her that the staff and her husband Wayne always provided warm
personalized service. It is a very comfortable spot to enjoy a break . My deepest sympathies to Wayne , the family and friends and the staff .

Our very deepest condolences to Wayne and all of Amanda’s family. We will miss her sense of humour, sharp wit and bright smile. Many fond memories and she will be missed. We’d like to be there for the celebration of Amanda’s life but unfortunately, we are somewhere in the Outer Hebrides raising a dram in memory of the classy lady we call our friend. Yes, it’s single malt and we know she’d like that. Slainte m’hath Amanda.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Amanda. Bill and I loved to chat with her over the counter at Queen Bee. She always had interesting things to say and was so community minded. She never tired of twirling around and showing us her latest Lishman shawl and always looked fantastic in them. This is a huge loss to the community and we will miss her very much.

Wayne,
It is with shock and sadness that I heard of Amanda's death. I will not forget her laughter as she described people trying to parallel park in front of Queen Beans, her enjoyment of merlot and good conversations, and how she dressed up on Brits on the Lake day and I didn't even recognize her! She will be missed in the business community of Port Perry and in the hearts of many friends.
I will also never forget the jean pocket she carried in her wallet, a sign of love for you that she had always.
Thinking of you at this time,
Cheryl

Amanda and I had a number of conversations when I was shopping in the store. Although I only knew her in this capacity, I was keenly aware of her genuineness and commitment to the community. The world is a better place for Amanda having been here.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
