As neighbours for over 30 years we are very sorry to hear of Clare's passing. I remember as a kid putting up hay in the barn. When we bought the nearby farm where Clare played as a youngster he was one of the first to visit. He loved coming down to our farm and bringing the horses carrot tops from his garden and coming down whenever we had a foal.
Condolences to the family.

Clare and Janet were great neighbours since we moved near them in 2013. Clare always took the time to talk to our grandchildren, show them his wonderful garden and things in his shed. The grandchildren called him the "Grampa Farmer". Abby (our granddaughter) wants to thank the Grampa Farmer for showing her how to dig carrots in his garden.
Clare offered his help on many occasions.
A very nice man and he will be missed by his neighbours.
Our condolences to the Vernon family.

Clare was a wonderful example to follow as a kind neighbour and community ambassador. The farm was always a significant landmark as I recall as well. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family as you celebrate Clare's life.

My deepest sympathy on the passing of your beloved father, grandfather, sibling and friend!
What a long life your Dad had, I had a chat with him several years ago at the Smith Winery, he was driving the tractor!
Treasure the memories, they last forever!
