Obituary of Reginald Armstrong
REGINALD WALLACE ARMSTRONG ~ (World War II Veteran) ~ Peacefully, on Monday, October 19, 2009, at the Bon Air Nursing Home, in Cannington, in his 85th year. Reginald Armstrong, dearly loved husband of the late Jean Elizabeth (nee Robertson), and best friend and companion of Helen Goslin. Loving father of Tom and his wife Sharron (deceased), and Ross and his wife Melodye, and stepfather of Gloria (Ed Locke), Glen Goslin, Joan (Wayne Hartwick), John Goslin (Bev), Linda Arbuckle, and Kathy (Donald Trump). Loved grandfather of Cathy, Stephen, Katie Mae, and Tyson, and step grandfather of Annette, Chris, Jennifer, Bradley, Michael, Jason, Leanne, Colleen, Darren, and Marilyn and great grandfather of 15, and great great grandfather of 1. Survived by his sister Shirley and he was predeceased by his parents Wallace and Sarah Armstrong, and by his siblings Lawrence, Vera, Lloyd, Mildred, Ralph, Morris, Jean, and Clarence. The family of Reginald Armstrong will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Wednesday, October 21st from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday, October 22nd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. with Reverend Paul Moorhouse officiating followed by a reception in the front room of the funeral home.
