Obituary of Vera Ruth Merchant

VERA RUTH MERCHANT Peacefully, with her family at her side, on Sunday, October 18, 2009, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 91. Vera (nee Kiesel), beloved wife of the late Robert Merchant of Port Perry. Loving mother of Robert Merchant and his partner Maureen Knoll of Surrey, B.C., and Joan and her husband David Lane of Port Perry. Dear grandmother of Joshua, Andrew, and Jennifer. The family of Vera Merchant will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Friday, October 23rd from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Reverend Bruce McCallum officiating followed by a reception in the front room of the funeral home.
