Obituary of Doris Frances Tobin

DORIS FRANCES TOBIN ~ Peacefully, at her daughter's home in Port Perry, on Friday, October 9, 2009, at age 92. Doris (nee Rodd) of Port Perry, and formerly of Greenbank, beloved wife of the late Frank Tobin. Cherished mother of Karen and her husband Ken Diceman of Port Perry, and Cathie and her husband Fred Taylor of Blackstock. Loved grandmother of Stephen (Stephanie), Shannon (Daniel), Tara, Ryan, Tara, Derrick (Jackie), Christine (Keith), Doug, Sean, Andrew, and Colleen. Dear great grandmother of Mia-Lynn, Nathanael, Jessica, Isaac, Kaitlin, Glen, Jesse, James, and Nicholas. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret Real, Bernice Gibson, Velma Foster, Lillian Thomas, Gladys Rodd, and her brothers Russell Rodd and Rex Rodd. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews. The family of Doris Tobin will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, October 12th from 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 13th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Paul Moorhouse officiating.
