Obituary of Elsie Pogue

ELSIE ELIZABETH POGUE ~ Member Maybelle Rebecca Lodge 348, Port Perry ~ Peacefully, in her 93rd year, after a brief illness on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Bowmanville. Elsie (nee Coppins), of Scugog Island, beloved wife of the late Russell Pogue. Loving mother of Gordan Pogue and his wife Patricia of Port Perry, Grace and her husband Rick Bowers of Ajax, Bill Pogue (deceased) and his wife Elsa, and Roy Pogue (deceased) and his wife Erna. Cherished Grandmother to Eric, Laura, Ryan, Lori, Corinna, Randy, Jenny, Kelley and their families. Predeceased by her siblings, and she is lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Elsie was a long-standing member of the Rebecca Lodge, and she will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. The family of Elsie Pogue will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, October 13th from 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, October 14th at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
