Obituary of Lorne Joseph Jones

LORNE JOSEPH JONES ~ After a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at his home, at age 67. Lorne Jones of Chalk Lake, beloved husband of Doreen (nee Harnden). Loved father of Kevin Jones and his wife Beth of Chalk Lake, Sherri and her husband Rick Grieveson of Port Perry, Brian Jones of Uxbridge, Mike Jones and his wife Sue of Baysville, Tracie and her husband Harvey Van der ligt of Uxbridge. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, his great grandchild, his brothers and sisters and their families. The family of Lorne Jones will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, September 11th from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society.
