I wish to pay my respects to the family of Greg Swinerd. I am very sorry for your loss and will always remember Greg as a man who made people laugh and smile. I knew Greg for a number of years since the late 90's and shared many stories with him about work and life in general. Greg was always up for getting his friends and co-workers together at some event or gathering. He always supported his friends and knew that all work and no play was no life for him. I guess you could say he was one of those guys that liked to get out there and do it. Greg usually had a humorous opinion about most everything. That is what I will remember about Greg.

Dear Eileen, Jonathan, Kristen, Bethany and Caitlyn, for 16 years, Greg was our cheerful, friendly and fun neighbour. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. Greg always had a smile on his lips and a funny story or two to tell; he always had some form of toy in his yard, whether it be snowmobiles, boat, off-road trucks or Harley Davidson bikes - he knew how to take life, which he loved with so much zest, by the handful. Even while learning to downhill ski, he would dare the mountain to "show me what you've got!" His enthusiasm and optimism for everything he tried was impressive - we will always carry these memories of Greg with us and hopefully we can honour him by shining onto others the positive attitude that he shone onto those who knew him. Our sincerest sympathies in your time of mourning, Colette and Tim Legere

I'm so sorry for your loss. Greg was a great guy, I worked with him for 5-10 years. I knew him when he was downtown, and got to know him more when he transfered uptown. Anything I asked for, he would try to help out. We had many lunches together over the years, and I will never forget him taking out those hot peppers, and eating them straight. "Oh that's not hot!!". Memories I will always have.
