Obituary of Marie Jirka

MARIE JIRKA ~ Suddenly at her home in Port Perry on Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at age 59. Marie (nee Zitnansky), loved wife of George Jirka. Loving mother of Richard Jirka (Caitlin McCoy). Dear sister of Edita Elshayeb of Angus and Marta Elganzoury in Florida. Marie will also be sadly missed by family in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Canada and the United States. The family of Marie Jirka will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Tuesday, August 11th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
