JOAN KATHLEEN WILKIN ~ Peacefully, on Tuesday, July 8, 2009 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 64. Joan (nee Wilson), dearly loved wife of the late Donald Wilkin of Port Perry. Loved mother of Mary Lynne and her husband Brian Layng of Newtonville and the late Kenneth Wilkin. Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Adam, Brian, and Brandon. Beloved daughter of Josephine and the late James Wilson. Dear sister of James Wilson and his wife Lucy, and David Wilson (deceased) and his wife Carol all of Port Perry. The family of Joan Wilkin will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, July 10th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy 7A) in Port Perry on Saturday, July 11th at 11 a.m. with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating.
