Bruce, Mary and Grant: I was just forwarded this sad news and I wanted to send you my condolences. While I only very occasionally ran into your Mum in Hudson over the last few years she was there, I have very clear and fond memories of her and you all going back some 50 years! I wanted you to know I was thinking of you. I also hope our paths cross again one of these days. Sincerely, Nigel

Michele and I came to Crescent street in 1985 and viewed Donna as the Matriach and Bud Thomas the Patriarch of the street; two wonderful people who made us welcome and helped make this such a great place to live. We are saddened to hear of her passing but hope that the family will be somewhat consoled in the knowledge that she left peacefully after living life to it's fullest. Our sincere sympathy to the family.

Mary, Grant and Bruce, we were all so sad to hear the news that we all knew was coming. Though I am sorry to have lost such a dear neighbor and friend, I rejoice in knowing how fully your mother lived her life. She was a beloved part of our community and will be sorely missed. Crescent Street will never again be quite the same! Our sympathies go out to you all. Warmly, Bryan and Brenda, Jillian, Daniel and Mike

We are saddened to hear of the death of our dear friend, Donna. We'll remember her for all the hand work she did for the church, especially the reusable bandages knitted from cotton string and the hospital gowns made from re-modelled men's shirts that were sent to Africa Inland Mission. Our prayers and our deepest sympathy to all of you at this sad time and we look forward to meeting you in the spring.
