BETTY JEAN TAYLOR With her family by her side, on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 66. Betty (nee Harnden), beloved wife of 51 years to Fred Taylor of Port Perry. Loving mother of Debbie Newell and her husband Al Murphy of Myrtle, Penny Banfield of Port Perry, and Fred Taylor Jr. and his wife Carrie of Oshawa. Cherished Nanny of Crystal, April, Cody, Freddie Jr., Dana, and Coco, and the best great Nanny of Ethan. Dear sister of Jimmy, Doreen, Barbara, Fred, and Billy. Predeceased by her brothers, Kenny, Donny, and Bobby. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, dearest friends, and to all who knew her as "Mom" or "Nanny". The family of Betty Taylor will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, January 9th from 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 10th at 2 p.m. with Michelle Hofman officiating, followed by a reception in the front room of the Funeral Home.
