Obituary of Carl Adams

CARL ADAMS (Veteran WW II) Peacefully, after saying good bye to his family, on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 86. Carl Adams of Blackstock, beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Dingman). He leaves wonderful memories with his daughter Pat Adams and her husband Ed Milburn, daughter Marilyn and her husband Lawrence Keenan, son David Adams and his wife Michelle, and daughter Carla and her husband Peter Bird. He was predeceased by his daughter Susan. Carl had nine devoted grandchildren: Allan, Lawrence, Larry, Craig, Janette, Nathan, Nicole, Christopher, and Hayley, and five great grandchildren Cole, Sophia, Jade, Carter and Chloe. Loved brother of Margaret Down and Phyllis Adams. Dear friend of Hazel Coates. The family of Carl Adams will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, January 8th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Blackstock United Church on Friday, January 9th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Linda Saffrey officiating with a reception to follow in the Christian Education Room.
