Obituary of W. Douglas Aldred

W. DOUGLAS ALDRED Peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2008, at the Forest Hill Residence in Kanata, at age 84. Doug Aldred of Port Perry, beloved husband of the late Nettie (nee Melnychuk). Loving father of Beverly and her husband David Sturtevant of Ottawa, and Marie of Oshawa. Loving grandfather of Trevor and Troy. Doug was predeceased by his parents Ira and Laura Aldred and his twin brother Cam. He will be missed by his sister-in-law Joan and his nieces and nephews. The family of Doug Aldred will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, January 2nd from 7 - 9 p.m. and Saturday, January 3rd from 1 – 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the front room of the Funeral Home. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
