I just read about Gords passing, I'm so sorry guys, we all use to have such fun times back in the late 70's early 80's. Ran into Gord a few years back and had a coffee. I was shocked to read this. Please know that my thoughts are with you all. Take care, Joy

So sorry I am unable to attend the service for Gord. Over the last few days I've had some time to reflect on my family's relationship with Gord and want you to know that he was a friend. I have many, many good memories of the times that were spent together. Gord loved to go fishing and so did my father so they were a match made in heaven. During those times Gord was the "son" my father never had. Gord was an "uncle" to my two children when they were young and to my niece and nephew; playing with them and caring for them as if they were his own. He truly had a love for children and youth. Gord maintained his relationship with many children right from baby stage through to adulthood and he will be missed by them all. To me, Gord was a friend. I've known Gord since the 1970's and have many great memories of the times when our lives intertwined. He was a border in my home at one time and that's when I really got to know him. One thing that sticks out the most for me was that Gord was a trickster. He loved playing jokes and he would let out this wonderful infectious laugh when he got "busted". Gord loved to have fun, loved life and he will be missed by everyone who's lives he touched. I'd like to offer my condolences to Gord's family and say just how sorry I am for your loss...for our loss. Gord will live on in my memory forever. Take care. Tina.
