Hi Uncle Dave. Well by now you are back together with Chocha. You 2 are very important people in my life and it broke my heart when you left us. It hurts my heart that Chocha had to go but I know she is finally back together again with you and you 2 can start having adventures on the road again. I love you with all my heart Uncle Dave

Uncle Dave was one of the best men we have ever known. He cared and welcomed everyone he met into his life with open arms. He was a great speaker and could always make you laugh with those jokes of his. We will always have great memories of uncle Dave and will remain in our hearts forever. Love you uncle Dave until we meet again,

Chocha and family, We send you our prayers in this time of need. Here is a poem for Uncle Dave. God looked around his garden, And he found an empty space Then he looked down at this earth And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you, And lifted you to rest God's garden must be beautiful Because he only takes the best. He knew you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, But all God wanted to do Was make him well again. God saw the road ahead was getting tough, And the hills were getting hard to climb, So he took you in his arms and whispered " I'll keep you for all time" It broke our hearts to lose you, But you didn't go alone, Because a part of us went with you The day God decided to call you home. We will miss you Uncle Dave. Don, Clorice, Kaylee and Danielle McCandless We love you guys.

Heartfelt condolences to the entire Wilson family on the passing of Dave. My family has had the privilege and pleasure of knowing the Wilson and Ouimet families for over 50 years as neighbours and friends. I have always admired how close you are to each other, not just physical addresses but the love and caring you have for each other. It is with heavy hearts filled with sadness that we write this... David you brought so much laughter into our lives and you will always hold be a special place in our hearts. One of my (Florence’s) fondest memories will be of your kindness and generosity of spirit as you went out of your way to welcomed us sisters into your home on our yearly get together. David always had time for everyone and he did so much good in the community through his work in the Legion. We know he helped many people and encouraged others to lend a hand in other Legions around the area. They say that no man is an island and that his achievements can be counted by the number of friends that he had. If that is so then David’s achievements are too numerous to count. He was a beloved brother-in-law who will be greatly missed and his absence keenly felt. Our thoughts and prayers are with Carol, Jo-Anne & Tom, Steven & Annette and their families at this terrible time. All our Love Cyr & Florence

Dear Carol, Jo-anne & Tom, Steve & Annette Our deepest sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in this time of sorrow. Dave was a dear friend and Uncle to the northern Cyr’s and will be sadly missed. It’s obvious that the “BIG GUY upstairs needed a mechanic to work on an old “junker and felt that Dave was the best guy for the job. So when the “BIG GUY called he had to go. We are sorry we can’t be there for you but you are definitely in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless and hope to see you soon. All Our Love Micky & Darlene Richard & Maxine Kayla & Andrea

Carol and family - We were shocked and saddened to learn about Dave's sudden passing. Don and I always admired the way that Dave spoke at Legion functions and especially Legion services - it gave a sense of peace to many families. Dave really helped ease our loss when Fred and Bill left us. He had that special way that will be missed by many. Our thoughts are with you and your family and remember when someone you love becomes a memory, those memories become treasures. Judy and Don Phinney
