I probably spent more time with Bob the last year of his life then most. From our first chance meeting in line to buy tickets to WILD HOGS when he discovered he left his wallet at home....so I spotted him $20.00. It was 4 months later at a rally that we were staged beside each other..not remembered our first meeting..and it was only after hanging out for an hour did it dawn on us that we had already met. Bob deserved better than the cards he was dealt...And while I miss him incredibly..I hope he has found peace. Ride free, Bikerbob....

Darryn and family: I don't know if you remember me. I went to Holy Family when we were in the gym at St. Paul's school. My maiden name is Eileen Vasey. I was friends with Christine who lived across the road from you on Jeanne Court. My mom used to work for your dad Mike in GM many moons ago. (She passed away at the age of 43 as well). I got to know Bob through church. I was looking through the obituaries tonight, and could not believe my eyes. I too have lost people close to me in my family, WAY too young. Please accept my condolences on Bob's passing. He is in God's hands now, and in a better place. Lean on your faith....God's time is not our time. Eileen Kelly 2 Nearctic Crt. Whitby ON

Dear Mike, Darryn & Family; I just found out about Bob last night and was so sad to know of his passing. I'm sorry I missed the funeral. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since. Even though it's been a while I still have my own memories of knowing Bob and they all bring a smile to my face. I hope in time your sorrow will be replaced with the fondest of memories and a smile. "When someone you love becomes a memory...the memory becomes a treasure." Sincerely, Rosanne Lamers-Smith
