Obituary of Walter Albers

WALTERUS (WALTER) "WOUT" ALBERS Peacefully, on Monday, February 18, 2008, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 72. Walter Albers of Port Perry, dearly loved husband of Mary (nee Jagers). Loved father of Suzan (John Earle), Linda (Al Schippers), and Steven Albers (Sharon). Loving Opa to Marylynn (Craig), Christine, Greg, Justin and Kyle and great grandfather of Melina, Coleton and Tyson. Dear brother of Betty and her husband Martin van den Broek (deceased), Hank Albers (deceased) and his wife Francina, Wilma (deceased) and her husband Ivan Bussieres, John Albers (deceased) and his wife Willy, Bill Albers (deceased) and his wife Margaret, Mary and her husband Ted Pierik, George Albers of Pickering (deceased), and Cathy and her husband Frank van Hezewijk (deceased). Walter will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and the Jagers family. The family of Walter Albers will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985 2171) on Thursday, February 21st from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Port Perry on Friday, February 22nd at 11 a.m. with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating.
