Lorne and I worked together on the road travelling and sharing a ton of laughs and gags. He taught me how to catch and eat shell fish. Still don't like them. Probably one of the funniest people I ever worked with. Yet another entertaining icon gracing God's stage.

My Uncle, Friend and Idol - Lorne wore many different hats - Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and Friend - as well as the hat with the little arrow through it, but I would like to add one more - Idol. He was one of a kind. He treated everyone the same - with caring, consideration and respect. He spoke many languages through his songs, jokes and pranks - which is how I received my nickname (Inchey-Pinchey) from him. I am sure most of us have been a part of one of these. I want to truly thank him for allowing us to create lasting memories of which we will remember him fondly and with love. I know he is going to be beside his beloved Joan and just want to say RIP and know you will never be forgotten and will be greatly missed. We love you and always will. My heart and prayers are with your family in this time of sadness. Valerie - Pickering ON

Dear Larry, Elaine, Sharon and Deanna and yours whole families and also Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Alcide, It is with our deepest sincere thoughts that we are offering our sympathies. Whatever he was called ; Junior, Lorne , dad, grand-dad, brother, uncle, cousin....he was to all such a LOVING person. His special "quiet in a way "character but yet so highly known as" a clowning around singer/guitar player"..his gift was always so appreciated. Our Uncle Junior was always a pleasure to meet. He always would show such sincere love to all...his heart had never left New Brunswick and was always so enjoyed by his childhood buddies and his remaining family. God bless you all now in this time of mourning , as we were blessed by God to have him in our lives. To all of his musical friends just think of him " as gone to his rest where there will be no more worries, pain, sorrows or tears..."...his soul will forever be amongst us along with all of the tapes etc etc left behind.. Lovingly yours, Martha ( Clarence and Emeline's daughter) and my husband Ulric Roy and our little family. From Uncle Lorne's hometown we are love you and are with you all ! Though far in distance, we are very close-by in your hearts.
