Obituary of Ivan Ray Birkett

Peacefully, at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa, on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at age 72. Ivan, beloved son of the late Norman and Ruby Birkett of Raglan. Loved brother of Muriel and her husband Gary Tummonds (deceased) of Oshawa and Murray Birkett (deceased) and his wife Reta of Port Perry. Loved uncle of Karen, Larry, Judy and Joanne and great uncle of Brandon, Brent, Laura, Leanne, Danielle, Michelle and Travis. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Hillsdale Terraces for the excellent care Ivan received. The family of Ivan Birkett will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Saturday, October 21st from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on at 11 a.m. with Reverend Don Willmer officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Port Perry Hospital Foundation.
