Obituary of Clifford Leonard Trapp

Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday February 28, 2017 at the Port Perry Villa, at age 86. Born on September 10, 1930, in Brokenhead, Manitoba, Clifford is survived by his loving wife Evelyn (nee Moore) of 61 years. Dear father of Dianne Brown, Brian Trapp (Helen), Arlene Jordan (Wayne) and Kevin Trapp (Rhonda). Loving grandfather of Greg, Carly, Heidi, Markus, Lukas, Adam, Kyle, Jennifer, Ryan and Sean and great grandfather of Giovanni, Alessia, Matteo, Katherine and Tristan. Cliff was a member of the International Operating Engineers Union for over 65 years. After he retired from Ontario Hydro, Cliff spent his time carving, gardening, fishing, playing euchre and curling. For many years Cliff was an active member of the Port Perry Seniors Carving Club. The family of Clifford Trapp will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Saturday, March 4th from 1 - 2 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Cliff's life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
