Dear Pat: I remember so many years ago when Clive's 'buzzer' would go during church and he would slip out and do his duty. I was always aware of what a wonderful husband and father he was. I know you will miss him always, but oh! so many happy memories. Bless you and your family!

Dear Pat, Scott, Heather and family
Gib and I were sorry to hear of Clive's passing, he was such a great man, we had so much fun with the fire department. My memory of you both is when you and Clive took my brother and myself on your date to the PortPerry Fair so many years ago. We were glad that we got to his retirement party. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, we will not be able to come down as Gib's health problems restrict us now. Love to you all Elaine and Gib.

It is with deep sadness that my family and I received the news of the death of my big brother Clive. Our hearts go out to Pat, Heather and Scott, Emma and Audrey at the loss of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Clive was also an exemplary good citizen when it came to supporting his community, especially with his work as a volunteer firefighter. My family and I will miss you big brother! Rest in peace!

Pat,Scott and Heather: Cathy and I were saddened to hear of Clive's passing and we extend our sincere condolences to all of you. Clive and I spent many hours together at the Fire Hall and when I first joined the department I looked to him for guidance and training, and I couldn't have been prouder to retire with him 2005. He served the community to his utmost and like the rest of us gave up much family time to do so,be very proud of his accomplishments. May God Bless you and comfort you. Rest in Peace Clive and keep the Heavenly Fire Department in good repair.

So sorry to hear that your beloved father has died. The most comfort you can give yourself is to believe he is no longer inhabiting the shell that made his life here on earth so painful for him, but is free and in a wonderful place. I know how hard it is not to be able to see him or talk to him or hug him, but as long as he is in your heart he is not far away. My deepest sympathy to you and all your family. Faith

It is with great sadness that I write this tribute to the Boyd family with the passing of a wonderful person Clive Boyd. You can rest assured that all members of the Lindsay & District Model Railroad Club of which Clive was a member for so many years will greatly miss having Clive's presence among us. We all respected Clive very much and the club and its members were very fortunate to consider Clive a friend and mentor. The club will not be the same without him nor would it have been what it was if it was not for him. We will miss you Clive but not forget you. Rest in peace and I sincerely hope that in Heaven there are lots of trains to ride and fire fighters to hang out with.
Sincerely,
Eric Potter
