Dear Alan and family
I am one one of the old staff from Westshore in nursing. Edith will be sadly missed by myself and my children. I had the pleasure of knowing Edith for 8 years while working at Westshore and have had many good times with her. She knew me also while adopting my children and going thru the long gruelling process and always tried to keep my spirits up when they were at times clearly down. We conversed about raising children, the casino, our love of scratch tickets, Scottish Highland Games, and of course highland dancing, I am truly honoured to have known her and will always cherish my memories of her......especially bowing and curtsying to her each night at Westshore in the dining room before supper:) My daughter and I recently went into Westshore when Edith returned and were told she was there. We went to see her and had a short visit and chitchat just like the old days.....and I am so grateful for that moment. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family thru this difficult time. God Bless

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to Allan, Debbie and Family. Mrs. White, as she was known to us kids- was a great neighbour to us all. She never missed a chance to spoil us on Christmas, Valentine's day and Easter with her thoughtful gifts. We loved when Mrs. White worked at the bakery because she was always bringing us home some goodies. We have many fond memories of her. As kids, on the rare occasion our parents went out,she was one of our most favourite baby sitters because she was always such fun and never seemed to get upset with anything we did. Mrs. White always made each one of us feel special whether it was taking us to Disney on Ice, or making a special lunch when you were locked out, we knew she always looked out for us! We were lucky to have her as our neighbour for many years.
We are truly sorry for your loss. The Tommasulo kids -Rocca, Caroline, Lucy and Peter
