Obituary of Kenneth William Rankin

(Owner of Ken Rankin Plumbing) Peacefully after a short illness, with his family by his side, on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 66. Ken Rankin, beloved husband of Janet (nee Cannon) of Port Perry. Loving brother of Robert and his wife Patricia, James and his wife Jean, Raymond and his wife Jackie, David and his wife Pat, Susan and her husband Yvan Lebel. Loved brother-in-law of Mary Cannon (deceased), Ian Cannon (deceased), Cathy Cannon (Kevin deceased), Laura and her husband John Watson, Johnnie Cannon (deceased), Melodie Cannon, Sheila Cannon, David Cannon and his wife Sharry-Lynn. Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Elva Rankin, and his in-laws Mary and Melvyn Cannon. Ken will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and by his cherished pet and companion Foster. The family of Ken Rankin will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, July 25th from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 26th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, July 26th at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
