Sorry - no - SHOCKED to learn of Brads unexpected passing. I directed the Christmas Midnight Mass and Brad each year was responsible for the lighting of the church. This year he was not available and we missed him. And now we will miss him even more. He was a good man and always did his best. The motorcycle reminded me of his tour of India which he recounted very vividly. My condolences to the family.

Larry;
Brad had remarkable creativity, confidence and dedication to his craft as Lighting Director.
I had the privilege of working with Brad on numerous productions since he first began his career in television. As I directed a show, I remember him saying "Give me a minute boss.." so he could make the picture look perfect.
He will be making Heaven a much brighter place.
Sharon:
Always remember Brad's calmness, humour and quiet strength in everything he did. A true gentle man.

Brad was a rare treasure - a positive, honest, kind, funny, gentleman. In addition, he was a talented professional. When you asked him how he was doing, not unusual for his response to be, "On top of the world." Never to be forgotten.

It's been almost 35 years since we first met, but I still have a vivid and hilarious memory of the beginning of a friendship that spanned so many, many years. I have been very blessed to have had such a wonderful friend. Your smile, your laugh, your kindnesses, and your ability to converse for hours at a time were all joys, and will never be forgotten by me, nor likely by anyone who knew you. You were truly one of a kind. Travel well, Brad.
"Your oldest friend", Sandi

I met Brad at Mellows and continued our friendship at The Gown and Gavel. I would take care of his place, bring his mail in and check on the bikes when he would go to watch the car races. I was one of 2 girls allowed to go on the walking tour. I was honoured to be accepted in such a wonderful group. Brad was a gentlemen and one of the most genuine person that I have ever met..

Brad... When I started at CHCH you were one of the guys that made me feel welcome. I can hear you now "Hello Chumly" "How the heck are ya". I'd ask how you are and you would always say "Jim Fu%^&in Dandy". You were one of a kind, a gentleman and although I haven't seen you in a long while, I always thought of you!
God Speed Brad.... Ride on forever..... You will not be forgotten!

Like so many others, I will sincerely miss my cigar-smoking buddy, Brad. He always had a kind word, a friendly smile and a funny story to share (usually something about his antics with Rob Farmar). It breaks my heart to know he'll never get to go on that motorcycle tour of Cuba we always talked about. Rest in peace Brad.

Brad was a joy to work with, and I was saddened to learn of his untimely passing.
During my tenure at CHCH-TV (I in news,he a valued crew member), we did not necessarily work together, but we crashed into each other constantly while on duty at the studios. "Crashed" rightfully describes his demeanor.
Everytime we bumped into each other it was like a crash of impish quick wit, humor, and upbeat humor which had me laughing.
Brad left us too soon, but I was delighted to know him.....my memories will always be respectful of my unpretentious colleague who valued his peers and his career.
My he have a long and comfortable ride on his two-wheeled journey into the beyond.
God Bless
Alex Reynolds

Brad, thanks for all the laughs. It made lighting in the studio a joy everyday. Your warmth, sense of humour, and respect for younger employees, made you a true professional. I will remember all the good times at Mellows and Hess Village with the crew. Hope you have found your ride in heaven. Duane
