Obituary of Tyler Willem Hanson

It is with profound sadness that the Hanson family announce the sudden and unexpected passing of their beloved son, Tyler Willem Hanson, as the result of a tragic accident on Monday, September 21st, 2015. Tyler was born on June 16th, 2003 in Newmarket, Ontario and has resided in Port Perry, Ontario for most of his young life. Tyler is survived by his brother Travis, his parents Adrianna (nee Langendoen) and Troy Hanson, grandmother Shirley (nee Lewis), (predeceased by grandfather Don Hanson), Oma Corrie (nee Vanderkooij) and Opa Harry Langendoen, great grandfather Fred Lewis, (predeceased by great grandmother Ruth), and countless aunts, uncles and cousins. The family of Tyler Hanson will receive friends at the Township of Scugog Community Recreation Center, 1655 Reach Street in Port Perry on Wednesday, September 30th from 5 - 9 PM. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at the Township of Scugog Community Recreation Center, on Thursday, October 1st gathering at 6 PM with service to start at 6:30 PM. Reception to follow. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, consideration for donations may be made to one of the following: Port Perry Minor Hockey Association or The New Animal Shelter for Uxbridge and Scugog.
