Obituary of Max Wirth

Peacefully, after many weeks of illness, on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 83. Max Wirth of Port Perry, beloved husband of 58 happy years to Margaret (nee Love). Predeceased by his brother Jakob Wirth and his sister Marianne Scola-Wirth both of Switzerland. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews in Canada, Switzerland, England, Scotland and the Dominican Republic. The family of Max Wirth will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Saturday, July 4th from 1 - 2 p.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or to the Lakeridge Health Foundation.
