I just learned of Uncle John's passing. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Aunt Ruth, Perry and Doris, and Andrew and Darren. It is very hard to lose a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. We seem to have lost your addresses and phone numbers when my father died. If you get this message please contact me at rayewood@hotmail.com or phone 306-565-8443. We would like to send Aunt Ruth a card since I doubt she has a computer. Once again I offer my most sincere condolences. - Raye Wood

Perry and Doris My sincere condolences on the loss of your father. Unfortunately I will be unable to join you on Wednesday for the service. I still remember the times we spent in the Grandel kitchen back many years ago with your dad "entertaining" us with stories and giving us "advice". (Perhaps we should have listened a little closer). It is always difficult to say goodbye but sometimes that is easier than watching them suffer. The time comes for us all. Again my sincere sympathies are with you and your family.

We extend our sincere condolences to John's entire family. When we lose someone we love in death it causes our hearts to fill with pain that can be hard to bear. But in this difficult time may you find strength from God's promise that one day we can be reunited with our loved ones by means of a resurrection and that this "enemy death" will be "brought to nothing".- John 5:28,29; 1Corinthians 15:26 May this precious hope that awaits us and your treasured memories John bring you a measure of comfort now and in the days ahead.
