What a full, wonderful, caring and extraordinary life of love and laughter...I know my parents (Bill and Eileen), best friends in life to her and Fred will now welcome our dear "Aunt Marj" to join them for dinner and a movie or card game... The picture in my mind is always of a fine woman with a smile on her face, knitting needles in her hands for yet another keepsake sweater and a hug and a kiss...may we all be so lucky... Thanks for your life...you made many others happy and inspired... Uncle Fred, we grieve your loss...together since that roller rink collision that put you together, to the wartime bride that sent you a glow in the dark watch, to a lifetime companion and a wonderful mother and grandmother, it is a loss too much to you for us to comprehend, but rest assured that our love and support is ever present for you. Best always...

I have fond memories, going back to my childhood, of Uncle Bill's Buddy Fred and his girlfriend Marj "Bomber". Remember it was the war years and that's how you spelled the word. I remember Uncle Bill going out the door to meet Fred and Marj to go roller skating and the other things that you guys did together. You two were almost an integral part of my early memories of Bill and I've always followed with interest the tidbits of news that were passed my way about what you were up to. Fred, I understand the depth of loss that a long time friend and companion's passing leaves. I got through it because I was able to say what would I want for Barb, if I'd gone first. The kind of women that we had in our lives don't pass this way too often but the hole they leave is huge. She loved you dearly and she left a loving family to support and surround you, so don't despair Her love is still there and is still with you. I'm sorry that the news of Marj's passing didn't reach me in time to attend but I will be saying a few prayers and reflecting on your place in my life. God Bless You, and keep you Fred... Johnny

I have such great memories of Marg. What a wonderful, giving woman. I will never forget the day she taught me to swim in your Kilgreggan backyard pool. She would be happy to know I am somewhat fish-like now. My thoughts are with you at this sad time. love Leslie
