I worked with Liz a few years back at the Ridgeview Diner. She was always a happy and very friendly person. She could always make you smile. I will truly miss her.

I am so very sorry to hear that Liz has passed away, and even more sad that we never stayed connected all these years. I never knew where she was until Mary Schmidt met me two years ago. Liz and Margaret, lived next door to us in l956. That is a long time ago. I used to go to their cottage with them in the summer. I remember Liz best when we lived together out west in l968, in Vedder Crossing. Then she was maid of honour at my wedding to Pat in l969. I do not think we saw eachother after that as I moved away. I was so pleased to meet Liz's daughter on Sunday. You look just like Liz looked when I knew her. I have pictures of her in my wedding if you would like a copy. Liz was my best and closest friend in l968, the year my son Karl was born. She was very supportive of me and I will always remember her. Please send me an e mail and I'd love to stay in touch. I will be on my way to Nova Scotia to see my mother in law on Thurs. so I will miss the funeral. If there is anything I can do let me know, I had always hoped I would find out where Liz lived so we could meet again. I am so sorry that we missed that opportunity. May God bless all your family, and I will be praying for you. Love Pat Allen 519- 587-5706 is my phone number. I live at 1365 Hwy. 3, east, Simcoe, On. N3Y4K4.

Liz was a very caring and kind person. My mother and father enjoyed her company, every visit for tea. I am sure she and my mom are having a cup of tea right now, talking over the latest neighborhood happenings. I know she was very proud of her family and especially her grand children. Remember her in your hearts. With sympathy
